Our Autumn Show was cancelled for 2020 but we are looking forward to the launch of our new format Autumn Show in October 2021.
The 155th Annual Flower and Produce Show
was held Saturday 22nd August 2020.
*This year the show was an online event.
Due to the current uncertainties we chose to hold a virtual show this year. This was the 155th annual show, in all these years there has only been one summer without a show and that was due to the General Strike of 1926. We are keen to keep Bream Gardening Society Summer Show running and as good as ever, just different.
Everyone was welcome to enter, you did not have to be a member of Bream Gardening Society.
What we do
Each year we have a varied programme that includes:
- Indoor Meetings, including talks and tips
- Garden Visits, both local and further afield
- The annual Bream Flower Fruit and Vegetable Show in August
- The Bream Chrysanthemum Show in late October
- Social gatherings
Our Shows are open for all to enter.
These are held on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7.30pm. at the West Dean Centre in the High Street, Bream, GL15 6JW. The car park and entrance are next to Bream Community Library.
Most meetings take place in the Witherby Room next to the Library. Entry is via the door nearest the road.
Non-members are very welcome to attend our indoor meetings.
There is a charge of £2 which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
