The AGM provides summary of 2025 events and reports as well as unveiling of the 2026 programme. As is now traditional for BGS AGM there will be ‘gifts’ for growing for free member only classes at 2026 shows.

BGS members will work together to lay a native hedge at the Maypole in thecentre of Bream. Excellent opportunity to learn a traditional countryside skill.This is an ongoing project, and new members are always welcome.

Help to prune a mixture of fruit trees in a small orchard. No experiencenecessary – guidance will be provided. Flat ground and the trees are not tootall. Some trees will need a hard prune to rejuvenate.Later in the year we will return to the orchard to harvest the fruit for pressing.
An opportunity to visit a Chelsea gold medal winning nursery which is right onour doorstep but not normally open to the public.
