The Society’s biggest event, the Summer Show, is held annually on the third Saturday in August.

The Summer Show has been held almost every year, including wartime years, since 1865 with the single exception of 1926.  The Show is currently held at Bream Sports and Social Club, and as well as the competition flowers, fruit, vegetables and crafts there is always a wide variety of stalls and sideshows, with entertainment for all.

For many years the Summer Show has also been home to the annual Bream Stick Show with hundreds of carved sticks entered by stickmakers from across the country. However this has not run for the last couple of years due to the passing of the previous organiser. If you are able to help reinstate this, please    contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
