Bream Gardening Society Flower Fruit and Vegetable Show

The Society’s biggest event, the Summer Show, is held annually on the third Saturday in August.

The Summer Show has been held almost every year, including wartime years, since 1865 with the single exception of 1929.  The Show’s traditional home is Bream rugby field, and as well as the competition flowers, fruit, vegetables and crafts there is always a wide variety of stalls and sideshows, with entertainment for all. Music is usually provided by a local band, and there are arena displays by local groups.
