Staging of exhibits from 8am to 10.30 only – late arrivals will not be admitted. Then the rooms are cleared for judging. The show is open to the public from 2pm. Prize Giving at 4.30pm.
A list of classes is available to view and print off on the BGS website. I hope you can support the show by entering at least one class but the more the merrier. Entries can be made on-line. There is something there for everyone – take a look. If that is not possible, you can support your club by volunteering – contact Kathryn on the BGS email if you can help. Then come along and see the results and bring your friends too. It’s a great afternoon. Enjoy a cuppa and home made cakes, raffle and other attractions too.
Schedules should be made available over the weekend at the usual outlets and will be at the next meeting.
There are some interesting new classes like photography subjects and baking classes also some of the older classes. Show us your Chrysanthemums.

A teaser of an announcement coming soon. We will be running a BGS calendar competition to celebrate BGS’ s 160th anniversary show. More details of this additional photography competition coming very soon. However, in the meantime, members might like to get outside and take some photographs which might be suitable for the October page.

Members have been offered the use of a garden in Bream as an allotment. Comes complete with sheds and a greenhouse. Anybody interested should contact the usual email address.

We have also been asked to advertise that there is currently an allotment available to rent at Noxon’s farm. (Farm is owned by a member’s family.) Just along Bream Avenue. £50 a year. More details available here: www.noxonfarm.co.uk/

I think that is all for now but remember the show is only a few weeks away….. I can’t wait!!!
best wishes
